About Project
Inyumba yu Mulogooli (The House Of Mulogooli) explores the origins of the Maragoli community, its customs, and beliefs.
It relates their journey from Egypt and their present-day settlement in Western Kenya while encapsulating their traditions and culture from childbirth to death.
The story is told through the eyes of Mzee John Lubang’a Lidede, a Vihiga cultural society leader who values his place as the firstborn son of Mulogooli and a custodian of their values.
